This is a terrible experience. We were picked up at 3am to then wait about an hour before we actually got into kayaks and started our journey.- along with tens of others. The luminescent plankton occupied 30 minutes -waving your hands in the water caused them to react and light up. The remaining two hours was spent rowing aimlessly and being guided by two men who were clueless about the stunning nature surrounding us - and thought it was ok to blast music out of their mobile and disturb the serenity. I can’t recommend. You could do this all by yourself just by renting a kayak and getting into the water whilst it’s dark.

Tour is ok but please be aware this is not a good nature tour. There is no knowledgable guide or explanation of the nature. Also its a large group and overall many kayaks all in the same area. The bioluminesce is nice but web photos very misleading. The night time part is peaceful mostly except fuide was on mobile

It was an absolute delight to book a Kayaking session from Kayak Yatra. We could spot bioluminescence, corals, sunrise and cover beautiful mangrove forests all thanks to our guide Mr.Avinash!

An excellent sea kayaking experience. Meeting the locals and learning more about their way of life was a bonus. The tour operator is a wonderful company, and I highly recommend them. Delightful kayaking round beautiful coastal islands.🙂😍👌

This was my first Kayaking experience. And it shoudk be one everyones bucketlist for havelock (just before the scuba ) . We were promised bioluminescence (research the time of this event before going ) , sunrise and mangrove . And boy , we weren't disappointed. Avinash was our instructor/ guide . The cab picks u up at around 3.30 am. And the training and getting into boat happen by around 4 am. This is mainly to experience the bioluminescnece while it's still dark, and to get in time to view the best sunrise spots. And ofcourse, get some hang regd Kayaking. It was a very safe experience. It felt amazing to be so close to the mangroves and nature. Once the sun rose , and we saw our mangroves , and the sun had been out a while, and while going back to the the shore, we realised we have been above corals all the while. The water is so clear that you can see the fishes swimming below .
Before visiting havelock, one must purchase 2 clear waterproof lock covers from amazon . (One for the mobile , the other for cash ) . Its a worthy investment to capture these beautiful moments.
